Teleworking

Literally it means "Working at a distance".

Modern teleworking means that you are working for a company from home with the use of a computer and a often a dedicated network connection.

This enables the worker to access company databases, shared drives and even printers just as if they were at the office.

The network connection is not essential as much work can be done by working 'offline' and then simply connect to an email system for sending and receiving attachments.
