Point Size

A text formatting term.

Text can be sized in various ways - pixel, ems, pica and also 'point' size.

A standard size of text such as you are reading right now, is between 10 and 12 points. A tiny piece of text would be 6 points and anything above 14 points tends to be for headings and presentation slides.

Any word processor package or text editor will include a method of changing font size, this is usually in the same place as you would change the font to bold, italics and so on.
