Memory Card

Many digital devices now require some form of storage for their data. For example, digital cameras.

The 'Memory card' was developed with this in mind.

The card contains a number of non-volatile memory chips to hold the data and the card dimensions will follow one of the many standard shapes in order to fit the devices they are meant for.

Memory cards include:

> Compact Flash
> SmartMedia
> Multimedia Card
> xD-Picture Card

as well as many others.
