Hot Spot

There are two kinds of hotspots in popular use.

1. Hotspot

An invisble area on an image that is set up as a hyperlink. It is often used for navigation but it can also be used to trigger a popup to appear. You can see an example hotspot in the image below by hovering over the Q that will take you to our home page.

2. Hotspot

A location that allows you to connect your laptop to a public Wi-Fi internet service. For example you may find a hotspot in some popular cafes or train stations. The service is often free, but some companies may charge by the hour to use the hotspot.
