Bias

When someone has a strong opinion about something, they may use carefully selected facts to bring you over to their point of view. Those facts are said to be 'biased'.

Biased information is not the same as being inaccurate or untrue. Biased information may be both accurate and true - but on their own they do not tell the whole story
