This scheme of work has been designed so that you can literally pick it up and use it with no additional planning required.
This SoW covers:
- The purpose and use of flowcharts
- Flowchart symbols
- How to draw a flowchart
- How to write an algorithm in preparation for a flowchart
- How to use that algorithm to create a flowchart
- Numerous practice flowchart exercises to increase student confidence.
This scheme of work can be run as either a one or two part standalone project with no prior student knowledge. However, it would also work particularly well directly after completing the SoW on computational thinking.
